This part is spot on:

"He gropes for these trusted relationships and seeks to disrupt them. And he does so, I think, for a very simple reason: He knows that in a world with trust, he’s at a disadvantage because he’s not trustworthy. But if he manages to make everybody untrustworthy, he’s on a kind of level playing field."

Terrifying.

President Trump: "I think mail-in voting is horrible, it's corrupt."

Reporter: "You voted by mail in Florida's election last month, didn't you?"

Trump: "Sure. I can vote by mail"

Reporter: "How do you reconcile with that?"

Trump: "Because I'm allowed to.

Ah, ok, let's blame the WHO. Sounds reasonable. How come this mentally instable and intellectually unarmed person still gets support by wide parts in the US? Jeez.....

You are correct sir. Additionally, our congress should be doing several other duties they neglect. Their priorities are not the people they represent. Trump got elected because he's all about us and U.S.   Hardworking Americans like hearing our country comes first, our jobs are most important and we bow to no one. I'm guessing POTUS brings back many jobs from China in medical manufacturing. When they threatened to withhold Rx, I'm sure that plan he already quietly started got high priority. He's been speaking against China since forever, long before the Apprentice days. Knowing how he feels, all kinds of shit has been in motion since election, but he loves to talk about being "friends" with Xi and continues successfully negotiating trade deals that benefit OUR country. The way he handled that Chinese reporter yesterday was brill.

They just list their source as "Commerce Department data", haven't got the time to track that down at the moment. The Commerce Department has an awful lot of data.

One thing that may be causing unnecessary panic among tradephobes is that a country accounting for "91% of imports" doesn't mean accounting for 91% of supply. It also doesn't mean that that country has 91% of capacity either; Mexico makes up over 90% of imports of avocados, for instance, but Mexico supplies only about 1/3 of the world's avocados. If Mexico decides to embargo us we'd still have guacamole for the Superbowl. Assuming we have a Superbowl.

Can't check the source WT claims for the article, The Pharma Letter, because it's behind a paywall. But everyone else making claims about how much of the US drug supply comes from China has been pulling their numbers out of a smelly orifice.

Why You Shouldn't Trust Anyone Who Claims 80 Percent of America's Drugs Come From China

While reading about the COVID-19 outbreak, you've probably encountered this particularly shocking statistic at one time or another: 80 percent of America's pharmaceutical drug supply comes from China.

It's a statistic that has made the rounds in right-wing publications for a while—offered as proof that China-heavy global supply chains are putting Americans at risk—but it has also popped up in mainstream outlets, including in pieces published in Politico and The Atlantic. Wherever it is deployed, the stat carries an unstated implication: What if China decides to cut us off in the middle of a pandemic? Could America face a dramatic shortage of key pharmaceutical drugs at the moment when we are most in need? And that distorted claim that says America has been too reliant on China has been seized by politicians like Sen. Josh Hawley (R–Mo.) as evidence that globalization has undermined America's pandemic response.

In fact, because the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not track the volume of drug imports from any foreign countries, it is impossible to say with any certainty how much of America's pharmaceuticals come from China. Or from anywhere else.

But that has not stopped politicians and media outlets from recycling this shocking statistic. That statistic is based on an inaccurate presentation of a single government report that says no such thing—and, in fact, suggests the opposite. At very best, it omits crucial context. At worst, it simply misleads. One expert who has repeated this stat in numerous publications and in congressional testimony refuses to share her source for that shocking bit of information.

A big takeaway from Philip Bump's piece:

Arguing that the impeachment trial was distraction from fighting the virus ignores a few other points. First, that the trial didn’t effect the administration offices which should have been pressing forward on preparing any response and ensuring that material was in place should the virus spread across the country. Second, Trump and his advisers actually held a meeting in the middle of the trial focused on the virus. Trump tweeted about it.

As that meeting was going on, senators were posing questions to Trump’s attorneys about the evidence before them. Somehow, despite what was going on in the Capitol, Trump and his team managed to focus on the threat posed by the coronavirus. Despite that, they failed to scale up production of a working test for the virus and declined to push manufacturers to scale up production of ventilators — decisions that would later prove to be significantly missed opportunities.
