That's a cool article - well researched. I've known for a long time that "Master of Reality" used some variant of Kabel, but I've wondered how it was distorted/warped that way with the comparatively limited technologies of 1971. I've seen that effect on other book and album covers of the era, but I never knew how they did it other than completely by hand - like a lot of of the typography on sci-fi and horror paperbacks of the '50s and '60s was done. But that album cover has a clear, recognizable typeface so I assume it was some process of printing it out, altering it by hand and then repeatedly scanning and hand-altering it.

I knew I recognized the font on Orange amps from somewhere.

Yes, I know Stickermule. Like them a lot, but can't handle the minimums and turnaround time.

Sticker Mule has a 10-sticker "sample" available. So now you're only up against the turnaround time.

These people in Bozeman can probably help. MAYBE. If they actually do the printing in-house. I looked through a few websites that probably don't do their own printing; this one is a solid maybe.

If the design is not a photo/painting, someone local with a cricut or some other crafty thing can generate decals for you, too. It all depends on how many you need, how fast you really need them. And of course $$.

Oops, sorry, I overlooked the "laser" specification.  There are some made for laser printers but I've never used them since I use an inkjet printer.  These ones have good features pointed out in the description (for what that's worth), and seem to have pretty good reviews but it's hard to tell how many reviews are legitimate.

These are vinyl sheets, so of course you would need to cut them, but they are much more durable than paper.  They are not as durable as Sticker Mule or Sticker App stickers in terms of thickness or being dishwasher-safe, etc.  They advise to improve them being waterproof and/or for outdoor use, to spray them with an acrylic, UV coating.  I've used them, and they hold the ink well and the colors are bright, etc.

I bought an Epson ET2850 with refillable cartridges and I like it except for printing photos.   I regret giving away my £30 HP because it printed great images so if that's important to you, keep looking because this one isn't it.   For everything else its FAB wireless printer that money-saving and "green".

OK, I need a printer/fax/scanner, a color laser., but this time I want one with cartridges I can get reloaded , one that will reliably print until it runs out of toner instead of putting streaks on every page.

Anybody got a suggestion?
