Tom Cotton says the two survivors after the first strike were trying to flip the capsized boat over so they could get in and resume their mission of transporting drugs to the United States. Huh? Is it possible that they were just trying to survive instead of drowning? I mean, this is batshit crazy talk. So much so that I thought about posting this in the RightWingNutz thread.

The former pitchman, best known for his role selling the "ShamWow" towel, told Fox News that he wants to "destroy wokeism" in Congress and that he's been motivated by the "political infighting in the country" to run and "make America happy."

Should we stop calling them Nazis (which is accurate per their behaviours) and start calling them Soulless M*therf*ckers (also accurate, although maybe not literally - that I know of)?

I don't see using the word - when appropriate - as 'diminishing' the power of the word, but it's been used so often, previous to today's realities, that it's power is already diminished. As Lazy8 pointed out in a post while back, its use to describe anyone from Reagan, to Bush, to Hilary Clinton, etc. when inaccurate, has since made it almost trivial when describing people like Stephen Miller and others - who are behaving like Nazis. They just shrug it off like it's some sort of neurotic hyperbole.

"None" is of course the only correct answer. I am baffled and astonished at how many 'reasonable' people I know that think a little Nazi is okay. Or how many people still admonish me for saying "Nazi" - 'you're diminishing the power of the word'. No these people are Nazis and it's not okay.  Full stop. Pretty easy.  I'm saddened at how many people I've had to cut out of my life due to this, parts of them will be missed but there is no room for any level of Nazi.

Edit: yes, I said Nazi a lot. It needs to be said. When they cosplay in the uniform, minus the logo (a few of the amateur hour crew used the logo on halloween because it's a laugh), do the salute, emulate the propaganda, and copy the playbook, they need to be called out. It's a bad word because it's a bad thing. We shouldn't be afraid to call someone when the are doing bad things. It's how we maintain a civil society.
