I used to keep them in the fridge but no longer unless I cut one in half then I do for a day or two. And I agree that those Super Sweets from the store do ok in the fridge.
I’m late and did a seed sort and count to start my toms this weekend.

i have an idea for a serving suggestion:

freeze them and feed to red dragon from across the room with a sling-shot

maybe dip them in a little ranch dressing for a tasty and visual effect

of course he needs to wear some goggles and a mouth prop

I would never keep "real" tomatoes in the fridge....but the little grape ones we get from the store seem to do okay.... these from the farm bag, though, are a lot fresher....and I don't want to "rune" them....

Not a gardening question...but.... my farm delivery came today, and there is a big batch of mixed heirloom cherry and grape tomatoes.  They are GORGEOUS...and ripe...my question is, should I store them in the fridge, or on the counter?

I know there's debate about the little guys.... Thanks!

‪Our local gardening group has a tomato sale every year about now. They couldn’t hold the sale, and gave away their plants. Just picked up Thai basil, some multicolored squash, a couple of eggplants and a dozen various black tomato plants. ‬

‪Color me excited...‬
