Nothin' butt the bass!

They were sort of a second-tier goth band before goth was a genre. Lots of Siouxsie, Gene Loves Jezebel, Shriekback disco dance party sounds. Not my favorite track (I don't listen to them except when I'm prowling around YouTube), but they're not awful. The whole genre might be not your thing, but they're worth dropping the needle on.

Not terrible at all.  Not that I would listen to it on a regular basis, but I get it.  Lead singer sounds a bit like Alex Harvey.  I'm a fan of Siouxsie and have some of her stuff.  Her cover of Dear Prudence is my favorite version.

I love how it's a 40th anniversary edition of an album I've never heard of.

The only thing I'd ever heard about that band was that they were associated with U2 - apparently two of the members were in earlier bands with Bono, and the Edge's older brother was a guitar player in the band.

How about bad covers from popular artists?
I don't care for the album covers from Radiohead and Drive-By Truckers

If that's the album with "Before she breaks my heart", the content more than makes up for the cover art!

My father played that repeatedly when I was a kid.

Their first (only?) LP that wasn't just numbered. I always thought they were trying to do something like Springsteen but now that I look at it, maybe just the idea of wrapping the photo around to the back.
