Following up as promised (I realize you are looking into it): I tried it again this afternoon and it's as before: "Welcome to Radio Paradise" and then silence. The BT display doesn't change either to indicate the skill is loaded as it does with other similar radio station skills that do work.

Hey Bill.

There is another RP listener reporting the same in the AMZ forums, fwiw.

I tried it a few days ago and it was not working. (nor during the two weeks prior).  I'll try again this afternoon.

And again this is with the new Echo Auto for cars.

I'll be reporting this direct to Amazon as well, but thought you should know that the new Echo Auto fails to play the RP skill. It says it is, but then all you get is crickets.

We're forced currently to call up RP via TuneIn. Blech!

Working ok for me. I'll look further & see if there's an issue.

We're checking on this.

That's an interesting little device. They've kept it pretty low key.
I see no reason the RP skill shouldn't work but it is still in beta so I'm sure they are still working out some kinks.

There are some things you can try though as I suspect it mostly piggybacks off the Alexa app on your phone.
- Ask alexa to skip after the RP skill starts.
- Try launching the RP skill from the alexa app on your phone.
- and of course reboot the phone

Hey Bill,
Thanks for the tip yesterday on how to sync the playlists.

I'm listening to the RP Rock Mix and have set the playlist to track the rock mix and the playlist is not synced with the audio at all.

The song that's playing is Talking Heads - Life During Wartime.
the playlist says  the song is You Held the World In Your Arms by Idlewild
Heart - Magic Man played a few minutes ago and the playlist said it was Oingo Boingo - Just another day...

Right you are. I'm investigating.

This should be fixed now.

I've toggled the little padlock icon and that doesn't seem to do it...
I listen to RP through WinAmp (yes, I'm old and stuck in my ways) but keep the RP website open in Chrome so i can see more info about the song/artist...
I'd love to be able maximize the Chrome window and have the current song refreshed at the top of the playlist on the right of the screen.

Top right? That sounds like the legacy site. No way to do that there.

On our new site, click 'track' on the player display, then 'channels' -> 'rp main mix'

Oooops.
top left.

It's the new site where the playlist runs down the whole left side...
I'm hoping there's a way to make the the page refresh the playlist on the left when a new song comes on...

Sorry about that. Reconfigured the final server for the new system & went to bed — forgetting one small but important bit.

Fortunately Jarro stepped in & fixed things. Should be fine now.

This is a (known) bug. You can workaround it by removing the app and reinstalling (as Bill suggested), but the version currently on review (it should be out in a few days) should solve it on a more permanent basis.

The first thing to try is deleting the app, then re-installing from the app store.

If the problem persists (it probably won't) tap 'settings' > 'send feedback' > 'malfunctioning'.  That will send the app log to our developer.
