On the second one, don't know how old you are but there was once a thing called Muzak.  Generic covers of mainstream music back in the late 60's well into the 70's.  Heard it everywhere.  Restaurants, offices, stores and even in some factories and warehouses.  I worked as a stocker / order puller for Bobbie Brooks in their warehouse around 71 and they had it.  It even changed themes and beats depending on the time of day in order to keep everyone going.

They had their own hardware, network and audio systems.  It was streaming before we had streaming.

This article makes me wonder if there will be a backlash and how that might present.  Maybe not.  Maybe there are enough people that just want "music" on in the background and don't care who (what?) made it.  When an artist uses a little AI in part of their music, is it still human generated?  How will music lovers view someone that interactively performs with an AI?  I'm reminded of the opening to "Stop Making Sense" in which David Byrne uses a boombox.  I mean, a machine did half the performing in that sense, but I have no aversion to that.  I do have an aversion to completely soul-less AI generated music.  Interesting times.
