Yeah, like I said it must be related to the website-makeup.

My uBlock-origin Firefox-Addon is currently blocking 306 requests, most of them due to YT embeds, while CanvasBlocker takes care of domRect, textMetrics, canvas, history & screen.

Thanks. It seems to point at cloud-services or other second-/ third-party services implemented in the RP website, like my hunch further down this thread already told.

FOSS apparently is not a concern in web-design.. and LEANNESS definitely is not.

Thanks, @jarro. Yet, it would be nice to be able to know things like that while ongoing, or even in advance. - I've been asking myself what's going on and trouble-shooting in vain for almost a week now.. just sayin'. - Thanks again to the dedicated RP-Team for thriving to go global.

The RP website has been laggy and unresponsive, as of late (less than a week). Today it culminated in a total 404 (domain not reachable) for several hours (from Europe).
Just now it is back up and functioning well.

Did you migrate any web-servers, dear @RP-Team?

If so, it would be nice to have a public channel for such announcements in the future... just a thought from my end.

Thanks.

With so many different servers and feeds it is hard to predict any failures.  They are usually brought to the attention of the staff in this thread.

Right now - again - the website takes forever to load completely (i.e. it is super-laggy)!  ...and eventually fails to load all modules.

Even while I am typing, the web-browser fails to load the page completely... it has been like that for almost a week. And it is not related to my end, since it is all the same, regardless of the computer or OS in use. All other web-traffic is working just fine and as expected here.

Think it must be related to some 'foreign' services implemented into the website-makeup!
The streaming links all keep working well...

Dark Blue for link and Purple for a visited link was the standard. Don’t need an underlined text.
Way back in 94’ a visited link was red if I remember correctly.

Blue is my favorite color but I'm voting with Scott and phineas. It just doesn't seem to fit with the site color scheme.

I totally get this but, on the other hand, people are pretty web savvy and will quickly see what is and isn't clickable —> we don't underline links anymore, which of course was the "standard" for a while.

I'd love to see a link/visited link colour scheme that better reflected/integrated with the overall site design.

edit: lots of people still underline links ( I see) but it seems kind of old school
