A friend of mine introduced me to RP a short while ago; because of lockdowns I have been working from home exclusively for 2y and counting, and listening to the radio all day, every day, and I'm a freelancer so it isn't unusual for a work day for me to be 10 hours. I was getting so bored of Radio 2 and the continual chit-chat and repeated tracks I asked my friends for radio recommends and one of them suggested RP. I was immediately blown away by the eclectic and inspirational mixes, and no unnecessary chit-chat. I've been listening to it continually for a month now, it's a game-changer. I haven't found a way of listening to it in the car yet which is a pity, why isn't it aired on FM? Best radio station I've ever listened to, by some margin, keep up the good work!
Thanks, Charles. And like everyone else said, welcome to RP!
Thanks Bill for getting this back on track. And welcome Mr Kent, I got into RP after I retired. It was a catch up on music I missed in the 80s going forward.

I'll check that out.
I wonder if that's my cousin Steve?
Nah. He's a professor at some high-falutin university.
One of the few highly intelligent Hoffman's out there.
The Beatles threads can be dangerous so tread lightly but great info.
And BTW Abbie was cool, wasn't he

Have you ever checked out https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/
it's a great forum for stereo equipment, music and records of all eras but they can get down right mean.
And people wonder why we can't stop wars.
I'll check that out.

This page reminds of where I hang out at RamchargerCentral.Com. One guy post something about himself. Ask a question. And everybody responds back with encouraging words and many, many answers to the questions. This might go on for pages with no response from the O.P. ever/ never again. All good conversation for us though. We tried at least.

True but it leads to more. I bluethooth RP in my car but now I realize I need an upgrade in the sound system.
Gonna start with an amp and new speakers, see where it goes from there.
It's a safe and legal drug.
Unless, of course... you turn the volume up too high.
Yes welcome. If your like I am, (persistent at getting quality music everywhere) you'll find a way to get Radio Paradise in your car.

Welcome to the club! I'm in the same position as you - freelancing and was also blown away by the mix when I first found RP (years ago now)..
You can listen to RP in the car. Download the RP app onto your phone, open the cache manager and you can store hours of music to playback when you are on the road. I do it all the time.
I can have it outside with the app, then wireless connect with a wee mobile speaker. Its a game changer. Welcome from those who feel as you do!!
