For those of you who have a Denon or Marantz network/internet product ( wiith HEOS module ) it is possible to add Custom URLs and playback and decode directly with the receiver itself. This is pretty much any product after the Denon AVR-X1400H and Marantz NR-1508. You can do it in the following way ( taken from the Denon FAQ but applies to Marantz network products as well as they share the same software platform ).
I tested the below with the 320 AAC stream from RP
1. You need to install the TuneIn app for iOS or Android.
2. Start the app and create a free TuneIn account - if you not already have one.
3. To add a custom URL, go to the Favourites tab, and scroll all the way to the bottom of your Favorites list.
4. Click the Add Custom URL button located at the bottom of the screen, and enter your desired URL. Click on Search.
5. The station will start to playback automatically on your phone after a few seconds.
6. Go to the Now Playing screen and hit the Heart symbol in the right upper corner. Enter a name for your Custom Stream.
7. In TuneIn, the stream will now be listed as one of your Favourites.
* The latest Android version of Tune-In did not allow me to hit the heart symbol however the moment I played back the Custom URL from pressing "Add Custom URL" it still worked.
Playback of the custom station using the HEOS app
1. Assure that you are logged in to your HEOS account. Note that this is required to log in to a TuneIn account.
2. Enter your TuneIn credentials in Music > Settings > Music Sources > Online Music > TuneIn.
3. Go back to the Music tab and tap on tunein.
4. Select My Favourites.
5. Click on the name of the station you added to your TuneIn Favourites.
* When I went into favourites the Custom URL was listed at the very top of the list. Once you press this it will play directly via your Denon/Marantz :-)
PS - It is possible to playback Custom URLs via those products without HEOS module too. They use the V-Tuner database but as far as I can see there is no problem here.
Happy to have my beloved RP back!
Keep up the good work.
Slainte!

I am based in N.Ireland( UK )and getting this message too. It. I have already emailed TuneIn about it - I have the issue on both my Denon and Marantz and thought it was their firmware as they share the same software platforms . This is not the case though as the problem is there with th dedicated Tune In app without the use of any other equipment.
Hopefully they can sort out as I really don't want to Bluetooth the stream.

Hi, UK listener here. On my Denon 6500 amp I use Heos/TuneIn radio streaming for Radio Paradise. This week I went to listen to RP from my favourites. When I selected p!ay I just get a repeated announcement that it's not available in my region. When I search I can find, mellow, eclectic and rock mix but, not the original RP. What's going on? I can still play on my PC.
RP is being blocked by TuneIn at the request of PRS (the UK copyright agency) due to licensing issues. We're trying to sort that out. Complaining to TuneIn won't help. It's not their fault.
Some receivers will let you add stream links manually. Try Googling that for your unit. You can find stream URLs here.
