Is it that more sites are preventing this kind of thing or is it a limitation of the new site? Is there a way to do this reliably?

Your photo has to be hosted on another website, you can't just paste it in here.

To post pictures, it seems you have to upload them to a photo hosting site. There are lots of those sites - try doing a search. Good luck! :)

I don't know how to post a picture that's on your computer. I think you need to upload it somewhere where it will have a url and then paste the url in the post. I anybody knows, I'd be interested too by the way. Sorry I can't help.

It's a good idea to recycle threads, but I find it a little difficult sometimes to find a thread that fits, and you have to sift through a lot of threads. Will keep it in mind, though. :)

By the way and this is not a criticism as much as an aviso: We recycle threads here. Some forums get all excited if you go off topic but not so much here. So rather than start a new topic, you can just ask questions like this in a photography or another relevant thread that already exists.

How do you post pictures here? Seems it's only possible to post video clips. On the Legacy site all the options are available.
