Wikipediaâs nonprofit status questioned by D.C. U.S. attorney
Trump appointee Ed Martin accuses the online encyclopedia of âallowing foreign actors to manipulate information and spread propaganda to the American public.â Before being named U.S. attorney, Martin appeared on Russia-backed media networks more than 150 times, The Washington Post reported last week. In one appearance on RT in 2022, he said there was no evidence of military buildup on Ukraineâs boarders only nine days before Russia invaded the country.
It may seem that way, but it's not really that simple. That sort of dismissal is a false dichotomy, similar to the recent quote from one of Trump's lackeys claiming (paraphrased) that 'you're either on the side of Trump's immigration policies, or you're in favor of terrorists'.
I'm not sure if I deserve the provenance, and I do think there may be a few fleeting reasons for continued support. But in the face of ongoing evidence, those reasons are few, thin and very convoluted. There is a much more obvious answer for the continued support, and it's not flattering to the supporters. At this pace, the excuses will be exhausted soon.

didn't get why he got the primary, after the post-2020 election made him unqualified, but I guess I was still willing to engage with these folks...
but now, that line has so clearly been crossed that anyone that still supports it has to be an asshole.
