'Just Comes Out and Says It': Trump Declares Postal Service Can't Handle Mail-In Voting Because He's Blocking Funding
President Donald Trump proclaimed Wednesday that the U.S. Postal Service doesn't have the capacity to handle an unprecedented increase in mail-in ballots because it lacks funds that his administration is blocking, remarks that were immediately viewed as an open admission of election sabotage by a president who has previously called USPS "a joke."

During his daily Covid-19 briefing Wednesday evening, Trump dismissed Democratic congressional leaders' demands for $3.5 billion in election assistance for states and $25 billion for USPS as "ridiculous" and vowed to continue blocking the funds. While USPS leadership insists it has "ample capacity" to meet election needs, postal workers have warned that without emergency funding, the agency could struggle to deliver mail-in ballots on time in November.

"Therefore, they don't have the money to do the universal mail-in voting. So therefore, they can't do it," said the president, who repeated his false claim that mail-in voting is highly susceptible to fraud. "How are they going to do it if they don't have the money to do it?"

I think this is misfiled under "Trump Lies".

He is being totally honest.  He's bribing the counter-party.  It's worked for decades.  It's even worked with foreign governments....ask Ukraine.

The grocery store. They're stacked right next to the real estate brochures and the PennySaver.

Here is Colorado we've been doing mail-in / drop-off voting for awhile now & there is virtually no evidence of any criminal activity or false ballots.  What does get kicked out tends to be administrative issues in the processing, which is also negligible.  And yes, all ballots are barcoded & have other unique identifiers.  Easy Peasy.

Niece’s book says Trump views ‘cheating as a way of life’
The book, which portrays the president as almost pitifully desperate for affirmation, provides a harsh contrast to Trump’s self-made image as a tough and successful businessman. It also represents an extraordinary breach in the wall of secrecy that he has erected around his life.

More than any modern president, Trump has gone to extraordinary lengths to conceal or distort major details of his private life, barring his schools from releasing transcripts, refusing to disclose his tax returns or detailed health information, and requiring employees and others to sign nondisclosure agreements to prevent release of unflattering material about his business and personal affairs.

Of course he likes the book.  It's about him.

You'd better do more than HOPE, however.
Please do the world a favor and help Joe get out the vote!
Joe may be older than Chump, but with his honesty and integrity, he could run the country better from a hospital bed in an old-age home!

Yup! It's his classic "Not many people know this"......by which he ACTUALLY means, "I didn't know this until just YESTERDAY when one of the advisors I haven't fired (yet) tried to warn me not to mess with it".
