I am a Classic Albums™ junkie; I have seen just about all of them.  AXS plays all of these British music documentaries and I say bring it on.  Yea Aja's alright, if you consider one of the best albums of all time alright; then yea.

Found this out of the blue; no promotion; comments disabled.   There are many artist from what I consider the Golden Age of all types of music 1960-circa 80 who I have rediscovered sometimes after 3 or 4 trips around so to speak and some that I completely got wrong based on limited knowledge.  The Kinks are one such band:

Fantastic!

The guy's a true Guru (is or will be).

Incorporating realism as an art form, and a way of life... yet always humble. The rest is hard to express. ~ Better watch it, y'all.

So grateful to watch this.

For sharing ~ Thanks in Biggies...

That should be interesting.  I got into that band when I was in middle school and as people in that preview state - I know very little about them.  They have had enormous influence on so many other artists but few people have even heard of them.  They were much bigger in the UK than they were in the US though.

Saw some great documentaries this weekend on AXS channel (directv only station I believe). First the Lynyrd Skynyrd documentary which I have seen before but was so great will watch anytime it is on pretty much and then the Allman Brothers After the Crash which is also exceptional, but saw for the first time the Terry Kath documentary made by his daughter and it is AMAZING. A must see whether you are a Chicago fan or not: http://www.terrykath.com/terrykathdocumentary-1
