If you read/comprehend, the message was that if your concern really is crime, then you shouldn't be as focused on immigration as a common denominator. There are lots of other messages that can be gleaned from data, but they all tend to be positive on immigration, so your racist little brain won't like looking at them.
Trump administration is setting cap for refugee admissions for 2026 at 7500. It was 125,000 in 2025. Once again, do not be fooled by the rhetoric that this is only about illegal immigration.

In terms of legal immigration, his administration is reducing the avenues for legal immigration and rolling back protections for people who have legal status. Well, he only cares about the southern border. Doesn't care about facts and studies that show benefits of immigration, focuses on racially divisive propaganda from this admin. Ignores that many undocumented immigrants (including a majority for many of the years he's been here ranting about immigrants), are simply visa overstays - and most of those don't fit the 'look' that appears targeted by those he cheers on. Plus many statements and comments about racial groups and his interactions with them. I'm not uncomfortable with the label.
