That's one revolution. Rick Perry seems to have that down—-at least half of it.

Obviously, what has been going on with our banks and governments have been going on for a long long time, we just didn't know about it. So now we do, and that is a good thing, because knowledge is power.
We have been wrecking our environment for years, and we are waking up to the need to fix it. But is it too late?
We are still fighting wars. But will people allow this to continue?
I guess it's a race to see if we become enlightened before we destroy ourselves, and take a lot of the planet with us.
Yes and yes. See that was simple enough.

Has there ever been a time when the news - or anyone - could universally proclaim: "Wow, everything is great!"? It seems as if things are worse now than they were forty-five years ago, but back then, many (over-40) people thought the country and the world were disintegrating as compared to their memories of prior times. I'm not saying it doesn't look grim, though.

Does anyone else think that things are getting kind of scary? Anyone else want to talk about this?

I've actually wondered if that song by Cake, something like "Sheep Go To Heaven, Goats Go To Hell" was inspired by the unfortunate primary donors to the catgut cause? I dunno, I just think of weird stuff sometimes. Maybe they did too.

I think it's quite scary. I saw a glimpse of this 2-1/2 years ago as people started to think out loud that the economy really could collapse. Sales of guns and survival gear went through the roof. I remember an online discussion (I'm not sure where exactly) about what will happen when states refuse to implement Obamacare. Many were concerned about which states would secede or if the Union would just break apart. IIRC my final thought was that if that happened groups of states would re-associate but that since they weren't all contiguous the map would look like a patchwork quilt. Fortunately I think the chance of this happening is small and the chance of significant violence even smaller.
