I guess the difference is that I want to regulate the government more rather than my neighbours less (mostly - there are some ways that Australia really is too much of a nanny state - but mostly at the level of the local council making ridiculous demands when someone is renovating or making it nearly impossible for our local carriage driving club to meet their regulations or worse yet, unspecified rules.)
