in house,  i think they call it KODO or KAI

As with most makers, the concepts are always just so much cooler than the production versions.   Still, they have really nailed some great styling exercises.

This one would have me signing papers. I might even break my rule and buy new.

The whole vision line is cool:

They're apparently planning on using rotary (Wankel) engines in some models again
; I wonder if there's one in that concept car.

That car is a mess and I kind of want it.
...

In your neck of the woods, you will learn what the british thought of a water tight top. Also note that there is not a single picture with the side windows rolled up...  Let me know if you buy it, I probably still have some parts, and a tow strap.

I remember reading a comment over there some time ago to the effect of "a convertible is a car that you put the top down when the weather is nice, a roadster is a car that you put the top up when the weather is nasty" which pretty much reflects my philosophy and/or need for rolling up windows.

Unfortunately, I've no room in the garage and one roadster that is anxiously waiting until the ice (and salt) are gone from the streets, sitting in said garage with top and windows down.

I like the commentary on some of the photos...

You're absolutely right. It's the driver's fault, not the car's.  It's probably harder to do it in an underpowered car unless the coefficient of friction is low due to rain/snow etc.

I believe Insurance companies actually adjust premiums for high powered cars?

Maybe we could institute a power/weight ratio limit for basic driving license holders, with special skilled driver licenses if you want to be eligible to drive a pocket rocket, but as a libertarian you probably wouldn't go for that.

...as long as they feature the cover from "Blues for Allah" MBS would probably be behind it.
