I used to listen to that album a lot in the late '70s - especially side 2.

Yeah, side 2 is excellent.  Maybe one of my favorite album sides, period.  Comfort food.  The more I get back into vinyl, the more I am reminded that I had several dozen go to album sides that I preferred to listen to vs the whole album.  While there are strong songs on the flip sides of some of these albums, the whole side is not something I would want to listen to on a regular basis.

Both.  I was up until 4 am this morning ripping it.  Played each side 3 times.

I just got a cartridge alignment tool last week and have been dialing in everything.    The Mint Protractor.  It was recommended over at the VPI Forum.

I just got done listening to the playback for breakfast.

Treatise is one of my most favorite music compositions of all time.  I â™¥ organs and synths and Treatise has all of that.  The bouncing Wurlitzerish effect just blows me away.  I love this album so much that I just bought a Japanese copy which I just got notice that it has been shipped as of this morning from Japan.

The file is so huge that I cannot post it.  If you like I can include a copy of the album rip with my next mix.  It's pretty much tits if I do say so myself.  Hopefully the Japanese pressing is even better.

Wizard will be done again shortly.  I have a 1st of that in primo condition.  The realignment is so profound that I am basically going to start all over again ripping my stuff.

I believe the last time I listened to Treatise was on your "out for donuts" mix years ago. I owe my ears a replay, will have to break out my old plastic waffle ;-)

I'm going to guess that your turntable of choice is a Crosley Cruiser.

1969 US 1st press.  Just arrived today to replace the same from my when I bought it new back when it was a new album.  This album provided the back drop of my Senior year in HS, tooling around endlessly in a friend's 66 Fleetwood Brougham through the roads of eastern Pa, up the Delaware to New Hope and around in Buck's County and a couple of trips to the shore no doubt ...  He drove that mother like a race car.
