) and tried to develop a mix that I thought he would particularly enjoy.  Sadly he may have only heard it once and to think that he was probably already gone as I sent the last mix to him and they are just sitting somewhere never to be heard by the intended ears is quite disturbing and sad to say the least.
RIP Russ.

Now down to business.  Because of the lengthy time it will take to listen to all of those cds, do you want me to go ahead and post the songlist or wait an even longer time to give you a chance to give them all at least a run through?

I'm all for it. I'm spending my listening time putting together my next mix so it will be a while before I get thru the stack but it's always nice to have a reference when I hear something I like.

That's sad news indeed. I regret never getting together with him face to face, he lived only a handful of towns away from me. I will be queuing up some of mixes in his honor,  Russ will be missed.

As I mentioned before it has been a perfect storm of resource, opportunity and need to unleash a veritable Blitzkrieg of backdrop as we rekindle our love of home, of sanctuary and learning to dole and parse out our needs vs. wants hopefully realizing we do not have to be on the constant go.  Most of our movement has been by choice and probably superfilous, our roots need watering and I  hope that this over 7 hours of music will help make the transition more pleasant.
Will be sending out today or tomorrow.

7. Bill Lee Man, haven't heard this one in years. Love me some Zevon

8. Cripple Creek Ferry Neil Young at his best. Just outstanding.

9. Ode to A Fiancees Answering Machine I can think of no more important subject for a song.

10. Marlene on the Wall Really interesting theme in this part of mix, wonder what inspired Vega in this one.

11. Vincent Simply gorgeous. Great painting too.

13. The Clap Would have never in a million guessed this was Yes. Crazy

16. Lodi Never really payed attention to the lyrics of this one. Thanks for making me. lol

17. Elma Always room for a well placed Mariachi.

19. Glen Hansard Great guitar work

20. The Easybeats Crazy to think AC/DC emerged from this band ultimately

OK smartypants. why don't you take the May rotation and I'll slip to June.

I should finally have time to put a mix together since I won't be going to any of the events I was hoping to go to.
