Our one-eyed cat, Wink, comes into the house yowling and meowing with his voice so full of pride at what he's killed. Once, twice a week, somewhere between 11pm and 2am. Here's his haul for the past several weeks:

  • Paper (dead)
  • Paper (dead)
  • Paper (dead)
  • Paper (so, so dead)
  • Paper (quite dead)
  • Paper (repeatedly dead)
  • Paper (dead)
  • Paper (dead)
  • Paper (dead. doublechecked, still dead)
  • Paper (dead)
  • Rabbit  (dead)
  • Paper (dead)
  • Paper (dead)
  • Paper (so, so dead)
  • Paper (quite dead)

Twice in the last month or so he's caught me off guard and managed to come into the house with a chipmunk not quite dead yet.  I managed to get both of them back outside, but they didn't fare well.
