Wow, that was a brutal movie. My dad took my brothers and me to see it in the theaters but I was too young. That scene where the night guard finds a prisoner with his throat cut gave me the willies for decades.

Was a long time ago when i last seen this. All i remembered was the beach scene with the pretty lady. {#Shifty}

Kurtster: Never seen The Untouchables. 'Bout time i get around to that. {#Cheers}

McQueen.  That is such a great movie.  Been a few years since I've seen it.  Thursday morning I finally sat and watched The Untouchables from beginning to end for the first time ever.

So many iconic scenes in that one.

Yeah.  Just watching that again was even more heart wrenching even with now knowing how it went.  That scene captures nearly every part of humanity all at once.

 Yesterday I put my brother into hospice care in a nursing home. His lung cancer is stage 4 now and has spread to his bones and brain. He's confused as hell and in a lot of pain. Hospice can give him good drugs. I hope he just slips into a coma and passes peacefully.
He's always been a selfish abusive bastid but still I feel bad for the way this will end for him.
I offered to move him to Gtown so I could be closer to help him but he wants to stay in CC. where his friends are.
Last night at 3am he set off the fire alarm in an ill fated escape attempt. Also failed was his 911 call to report theft of his property and the staff kidnapping him. I had to go up there and bribe him back inside with breakfast tacos and a pack of cigarettes.
The home has 6 supervised smoke breaks a day which he is all about. I guess at this point it couldn't hurt. He talked to a few of the guys out there today. I'm sure once he makes a few friends out there he'll be fine.
I called a place I often stay at out on the island and I'm here until Friday. I told Mike and the staff I was going home tho... I need the break before I return to work and then my own in hospital procedure next week.
