I have to fire someone today.
Ugh.
A tough task.
I am sure you will do it better than an organization a friend of mine used to work for that sent two employees from DC to Kansas City for a morning meeting, fired them upon arrival, and then they were dispatched to the airport to get a flight back to DC.
Been there. Done that. Never pleasant. And there's nothing like having the person being fired rage at you. Same like shoplifters raging after being caught.
Yeah, it's never fun even if it's fully justified and necessary.
I had a guy that I fired come back to the store later on and in his rage killed two people doa on a motorcycle when he drove into the parking lot and himself from his injuries about 3 weeks later. I was sent to that store with the eventual purpose of firing him and one more person. I did.

Never got to see the band in person.
On my 18th birthday weekend I loaded my motorcycle up in my pop's old Chevy pickumup and drove with it to Myrtle Beach. In addition to beach swag I took a portable stereo and a dozen or so records, one of which was Moontan. I dig it. Time machines are us.
I still listen to Moontan and Switch all the time. Both are albums that you can listen to all the way through.
Got to see them here in Cleveland when they came through for the Switch tour.

Well, afaict there are only 2 songs by Golden Earring played by RP at all. Whether that's enough or not seems largely debatable. Granted, you can argue about taste. But you can't argue about good taste. lol

Me: No, NPR, I'm pretty sure he's not known as SBF at all, except maybe in your texts back and forth where you can read SBF FTX and those have visual independence but when you say it on the radio it fucking rhymes and SBF saves no milliseconds or syllables over Bankman-Fried so stop it now.

Be it music, or movies.
As with this 2015 movie named "UMRIKA":
Thanks for the movie tip! Started it last night but JFW is afraid it's going to end badly so we switched over and watched the Wes Anderson thing.
