Peace, love and kindness should flow freely in your personal life.  When you up the ante in terms of politics, government, society and civilization, when you are dealing with large numbers of people,  it is then that they should be rigorously checked through the gates of cynicism.

Heh. Absolutely. I'll come back when I have a "sense of humor." Folks that have known me here for a couple of decades will attest that I have none.

That reminds me, have I ever told you about my senseofhumorectomy? Turns out it's not covered by Obamacare so I went to Mexico and had it done for cheap.

They gave me the parts they took out in a little formaldehyde jar and I have it on the mantle with the stuff they removed during my tolerateassholesectomy.

It's surprising what they can do these days with a #14 needle and a good strong arm.

Me thinks that's sarcasm. Should I still laugh?

No. No you weren't. That word doesn't mean what you think it means.

And the right rejoinder is "OK Boomer."

Copper can get quite expensive and usually needs to be soldered; soldering it in tight spaces can often be "challenging".  "Gator-grip" style joiners are very good, especially when joining two different materials, but those clips are also costly.  Most plumbers I know prefer to use Pex within in the house (under sinks, toilets, etc.), so if there are "issues" they're easy to get to.  They don't use it as much in walls or under houses.  PVC is probably most widely-used among contractors I know around here.

Makes sense.  Our plumber did cover with pipe insulation the areas in the attic, but there was maybe 6 inches that was not covered and they went nuts on that. {#Eek}
