A1c is down from 6.5 to 5.3 so I don't have to medicate. That's a load off.

Justine's aunt is having moderately-urgent surgery tomorrow, so as soon as school lets out next week, Justine and Augusta will be driving to Iowa to help out. So it's just Charlie and me and the dogs and the cats at Christmas. *sigh* The aunt's a bit of a hoarder; not sure what condition the house is in. Wish them well, and I think one aim is to try to convince auntie to move to California to share the house her mom's in. *sigh* 2 old ladies with a half-century of routine...

I can tell you that 3 months ago when it had gone UP by .1 I was really dismayed and angry. It isn't as if I wasn't trying. So today she came out and said "you're down a point!" I was all "so I'm back to 6-point-4? and really about to throw a fit and say fuggitol. She wants to see me in 6 months, so fingers crossed it's not an anomaly and that I can also keep everything else headed the right direction.

Good luck...It keeps getting harder to keep it all properly maintained.{#Lol}

The insult-to-injury is our production schedule this year means I only get the 25th off and the 1st. So we really can't even go play except on the weekends like usual. I'll probably take a vacation day somewhere in there.

That's what was on the horizon, I suspect.

I haven't been able to limit intake across the board, so the current fad of intermittent fasting is doing the trick. Fingers crossed I get into the 4s
