I got a photo of him dancing with JJ during the 7th inning stretch when we were in Chicago for a meetup. It was our first Wrigley Field experience.

So there's hope for the Giants? To get above .500? By September? I don't recognize half of the position players. The rookie they called up a year early is doing okay, so that's cool. 3-run double to win it today. That's 6 runs today, more than they scored all week. #isitskiseasonyet

Hey, it made for a decent weekend for me. I've had to incorporate some Junior Circuit games to assuage the pain of being a Giants fan. The A's are my go-to team there. The frightening part tho is watching Santiago Casilla again. Talk about a bad penny.

There are several other teams that I root for when the Kittys are are down, but it's been about a decade that they have been down and out so I fall back on the St Louis Cardinals.
I have been a Card fan since the end of the 1968 World Series, loved Whitey's teams in the '80's and LaRussa's run was most excellent (sorry Red Dragon{#Cheesygrin}
Also the Reds of the '70's and I have always kept an eye on the A's, the 3 WS wins in the '70's, and of course my favorite all time player Ricky Henderson.

so the way it's going now all I can say is let's go Cards!!!

Oddly enough, his last destination is Durham Athletic Park, where "Bull Durham" was filmed - it's across the street from where I work.  The Durham Bulls no longer play there (they have a newer stadium nearby), now it is home to NC Central University's baseball team.

Final tally 48 K's at 1:20 AM, no? Holy Hell what a game! I do have to get up and work tomorrow but luckily it's only 11:20 here. West Coast Thing. {#Lol}

 Yep, and 583 pitches total if  I did my math correctly.  Of course this now one of those games I will try to forget as soon as possible.  And for the record I'm glad I don't have to get up and go to work in the morning anymore even during the offseason when it might be good to have something to distract me from the lack of baseball.

In other news:   One of the great things about this game is even old farts like me who have been addicted to it since we were little kids still get to see stuff we've never seen before on a regular basis.  Already this season we've had a ball stuck to a chest protector and now this.
