I did Atkins like most of America a few years ago and like most people who failed at it, I lost a lot of weight but it encourages you to eat butter which of course I said okey doke. But once I slowed down on the Atkins part, the "eat more butter" part just kept right on goin'. However I will say that thanks to that diet I now like a lot of vegetables that I used to avoid... brocolli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts etc used to be not welcome on my plate.

I haven't put butter on anything this year. If the recipe calls for butter I use it but I don't put it (or marg.) on stuff anymore. Baby steps.
