I have two years on you... Saw my first show in 1978 (at age 18), my last at Highgate in, I think it was 1995ish? I kind of lost the spark after Brent died (and I think they did too...) But it remains the seminal music in my life.

We really only go to smaller shows now, singer/songwriter types, and it's usually a great music deal for the price. I haven't been to an arena show in years! Chris Smither in a couple weeks, Kris Delmhorst the week after that. Oops, threadjack... Sorry!

yeah, i found that pretty shocking too, but then, i haven't been to a concert since the 90's. so it may be normal....i honestly have no idea. Not to rain on the parade, but...
It's not the Grateful Dead. Not for me. Those days were some of the most important of my life, but they're over, and I think trying to recreate it is kinda sad.

and mail order is a drag, have to follow all the directions perfect or else they toss your order..... they said they go on sale at 12:00est.

they always did mail order before.....and, if you have free time to actually go get the money order and go to the post office, it works great.... no answers yet....dammit.....but i would imagine that the phone in has to take credit cards.
