I'm due for a trip to the city sometime soon, should be no problem getting it there. At one store (Sobeys), I went to customer service and asked. The lady says, "Vege(blank)" (forget now what she said). So i repeated..."Vegebite?" No. Vegemite, like marmite. She calls a lady from Produce and asks her. The lady looks at her funny. She repeats it. The lady from produce says, "Vegespray?" Amazon has it

Since you are such a good bloke, I'll give you a tip: use a really really thin spread of Vegemite. You don't want to slather it on. Trust me.

Red_Dragon wrote: So is "extra" tasty sharper? Also, is it orange like chedder in 'Merica?
The orange coloring of cheddar in The States was once considered a way of differentiating its state of origin: NY State is usually a deep orange, Wisconsin is a pale orange, and Vermont is always white, but NYS aged cheddar (over 4 or 8 years - I forget) is usually white as well. Most British cheddars are some shade of orange, as are Leicester, Cheshire, and Gloucester cheeses. The orange color is from annatto seeds and is a natural food coloring which has been used for centuries.

Yeah a little sharper but not like a really aged cheddar. And we don't go for that orange shit. More of a butter yellow. Really I'm not too fond of the stuff.

Yes, please. Also yes to the Vegemite (though I prefer Marmite) and cheese. Also toast with vegemite AND cheese. Indeed.
