I know what you mean, been 25 years since my Mother passed and once in a great while I think it would be nice to have a cup of coffee with her at her kitchen table.

Seeing this topic made me realize my mother died in May of 2001. Fifteen years. Wow. Seems like it was just a year or two ago.

I don't think of her as often as I did, but I still miss her something terrible. I can't even tell you how amazing she was. What the hell she went through for us. I'm getting verklempt.

I tried to be present in spirit at my folks last real estate. They're not there, of course. And I hope one of my local sibs brought some flowers for Mom's side of the grave.

Gawd I miss her. But I missed her for the last few years of her life, too. In any case, I always knew she loved me.
