If I am right. "Emo" in Poland is connected with clothes and the way of wearing them. It's some kind of concious showing off. It may be unhealthy. And also is the way people follow. It's rather funny and connected with people who are young and looking for their identity. Like other groups - punks, rock man or maybe rapers. All rather harmless.

Hmmm....sorta. They aren't really as agressively depressive as the goths. Just kidna whiney and pathetic. With emo's it doesn't even seem likely that they are gonna self harm cos they are too pathetic.

They're not so antisocial as the goth kids - not so mean - but they will steal CDs out of your car in a heartbeat.

*edit*

Actually, they'll steal anything from anyone in a heartbeat.

Addendum:
The definitive articles forgot to mention that many emo kids use lots of mescaline and snort aderol and ritalin - emo kids also eat cheap tacos and will share food they keep in their pockes with homeless crackheads. Emo kids are also moderately aggressive towards "suits" that wander into the places they like to hang out.

I cut my hand all to hell one day - it got caught in the door of the Fleetwood Diner. An emo kid I barely knew looked at my bloody hand that I kept shoving into a big styrene cup of ice, and immediately handed me six vicodin and a couple of pills I'll never be able to identify - (she said they would help me sleep), I paid for her lunch every time I saw her after that.
