I still think so. Been spending a lot of time at discogs lately and it still seems to be true. Lot of people there rate German vinyl even higher.
The cost there is much higher though with the conversion. Too much to find out. The last vinyl I bought was Floyd's Endless River (US) and it was disappointing with lots of schmeg imbedded from the git go. With the Pound down to around $1.30 the US price with shipping is virtually identical so for $2 more, I'm going to find out. It they pass muster, I'll likely consider more down the road from the UK given the price. But I'm not really interested in modern vinyl and new reissues of old stuff on vinyl, got enough already of the original stuff.
Regarding the Columbia Plant in Terre Haute, it actually has good standing and some of the club releases are actually worth more than regular issues. Not always but often enough. I've run across some of mine and they are actually pretty decent pressings.
Was looking at the ranking of this vinyl album at the various countries.
USA # 331
Germany # 24
UK # 1

Thanks. This just might be one of those pieces of vinyl that might be worth snatching for future $$. The price is a steal for 4 LP's. Gonna have to do some digging and see how much crowd noise there is. There is nothing worse than the crowd going apeshit over every little thing and ruining a song or the whole show.
