{#Yes}  Older Macs use ADB, yet another proprietary-to-Apple thing.  Although ADB uses the same kind of mini-DIN connectors, it doesn't work with PS/2 or any other serial protocol.

macs don't have ps2 ports as far as I know - this one doesn't.

unless you're already have a network setup with the other computer, looks like you're back to finding an old card pulled from another machine.

do you have a second computer that you can firewire to it and install the software?

USB 2.0 by adding a PCI card in one the 4 empty slots. A $30 solution. Easy!
