"Serious audiophile here. Out of all the music streams, I settled on Radio Paradise, an International digital radio station that has playlist mixes (Rock, Global, Mellow, etc),
skip buttons and the
ability to rate songs. Totally listener supported, pay what you can. No fees, no algoz, music chosen by humans. Faithful listener since 2007; I send a monthly tithe."
Perhaps some brave souls will seek it and be delivered from mediocre music. Hallelujer.

If I may, I'd like to recommend this Toronto-based Jazz artist, Christopher Parnis.
People may not realize, but Toronto has an amazing Jazz community. This is all thanks to the Humber Jazz Program. It's considered one of the best programs in North America. It often sends graduates to Berklee, The New School, McGill, University of Toronto and other prestigious music schools.
Christopher is a graduate of the Humber Jazz Program and as his capstone project he recorded this album,
Everything You Could Be . It's based on original compositions. Christopher was mentored by
Don Thompson . If you know jazz, you're familiar with Don. Don was kind enough to write the liner notes to Christopher's album. Not a plug, but I was privileged to contribute the photography to his CD.
I won't put the reviews here — that would appear to be 'hyping' Christopher. I encourage you to google him and reviews for the album:
Everything You Could Be.
Although Radio Paradise plays jazz occasionally (they're playing Miles right now), it would be so nice if they added this to their rotation.
