HP8 - Very well done.  Best FX since the real Star Wars trilogy.  The most disturbing destruction scene since they destroyed the Enterprise.  Twice.

You will love it.  I could have spent half the day riding the Forbidden Journey.  Amazing stuff.  And the area itself is just perfect.  I have pics to get up on FB.  I'll tag you when I do.  I'm also waiting for one of my traveling companions to send me her pics.

Call me crazy,I don't care.I read all the books at least 3-4 times ansaw all the movies a couple of times each, except the final one,and I'm holding off on that one cuz I don't want any of it to end. I'm 72 yrs old now and the books and the movies seemed to bring out the young boy in me again. When I read the last book I felt like I had lost a very good friend, even tho Harry didn't die in it,the series did! I really do believe that this isn't the last of the Wizards and Muggles because there is still lots of spinoff that could be made and that means millions of dollars to be made.I hope so anyway.     Told you I'm crazy.

At your suggestion, I did read the guidelines. Thanks, you are absolutely correct. All ages forum. Not in practice anywhere, but good to know the theory. Bewildered by the rush to judgement encountered here, but accept it as the status quo. It's your playground, I'm just checking it out. Oh dukey, that's bound to be misinterpreted! I'd better call it a night. Off to enjoy the beautiful full moon (no anatomical reference inferred).

Kidding aside, sorry for making ripples. You should have things the way you like them, and it's bad form to barge in and unbalance the ecosystem. A good night to all.

I didn't get the impression anyone was trying to slap you on the wrist or anything, just letting you know.  Somewhere earlier you referenced RP as an adult forum.  Its not.  Read the forum guidelines.

This probably should be an adult forum, considering the way a lot of folks type around here. But then it could be argued that the entire Internet should be viewed as adult. I doubt there is little possibility that we can protect the innocence of youth nowadays. In fact I would venture that it should be more important to be there with them, as the innocence slips away, in order to pass along one's important understanding and ethical boundaries... else you end up with folks like me who don't feel they rightly fit into the world... and don't.

Wrong. I used the term deemed to indicate a courtesy to forum members who had displayed sensitivity. I didn't find the non-explicit and fairly flattering pic I posted anything but mildly funny. I'll act in deference to the attitudes of a group, but hardly need any lessons in life. The fan fiction and internet parodies on this series barely start at the level of the mildly suggestive pic I posted. I was kind of amazed at the prudishness I encountered here. I'm a single parent and the guardian of two, read all of these books as they appeared, and participated in book club discussions on Rowling's work. One of the actors in the pic I posted (both young men, one 22 the other 24) has appeared completely nude in front of a live audience, the other funnily risqué in interviews. If someone is bothered by homosexuality, healthy sex, or ribald humor, I will do my best to work with their discomfort if there's no real point to be made in a lightweight discussion. Explaining to me how ashamed I obviously was is going to get some pushback, not really the kind of experience that draws me in to participation.

Nobody mentioned "ashamed" or some of the other things that you drew out of the experience.

Welcome to the forums. This should be interesting.

I'm holding out for the all-day Potter-thon. It won't surprise me to see all of them shown in order.

Again, would rather read them all first, but the movie thing sounds like a good way to spend a day of my life.
