Buddy and Julie Miller, and Shawn Colvin, have been/are part of the "Christian" rock scene. I don't know how much this comes out at their shows, but you're sure to hear a few Jesus songs.

yea.  they're playing at the beacon in NY too, I was trying to get billj and his wife to go, but the cost was prohibitive.  I'm not sure how much tix are for the keswick.  I dont much care.

I have a number of friends who love Shawn, but I've never been all that big on her. Love Emmy Lou, and have seen her a couple times in Chicago, but have never seen Patty Griffin. Want to do that.

i like it (the new cd.) but she's a bit too happy no? 

yolatengo was eh ~ the sound was terrible.  like really really bad.  vocals were horrendous.  it was too bad, b/c I dont really know them and I think I'd've really liked them.  plus, i brought my friend's 14 year old daughter and she was turned off to them b/c the sound was so bad.  which sux, 'cause it'd been neat for her to have really gotten to experience them.
