Not at all.  There are plenty of Obama supporters here, and many more than those who disagree with him.

Here with Trump, there are only two supporters and only one can vote.  So what purpose does this thread serve in the grand scheme of things, besides giving you an opportunity to call me a teabagger ?  Doesn't bother me, just sayin ...

The other threads devoted to other candidates seem pretty civil, even when there is disagreement.  Not at all the case here.  Things seem to get personal here.

But so what, eh ?  Little more to say that hasn't been said.  Just another dead horse.

Have fun ...

It's not as dire (yet) as you paint it. I've seen more than just two (at least two more voters) who profess their love for the small-handed oracle. {#Mrgreen}

You don't have to scroll very far down that active thread (or peruse some of the older ones) to get a more realistic picture. Go back further and it's a regular Obama hatefest by some of the usual suspects. Amnesia by design?

PS: There's enough "hate" to go around for other candidates as well...

I suppose I could write a filter to keep certain topics — like this one — off of RP entirely.

Or you folks could play nice & leave the venom & vitriol elsewhere.

That second one would be good.

I'm not pointing any fingers here — just sensing a distasteful trend. It's not like there's a shortage of places to shout, cuss, & attack on behalf of your favorite guy/gal.

It has become a place where everyone proudly displays their hate and dumps their trash in broad daylight on the lawn fouling the place for everyone else.

Reading that heavily biased and factually challenged article is fifteen minutes I will never get back, unfortunately.

One quote from the many objectionable observations in  the piece: People are sick of politically correct bullies.

First, the article uses "people" as if the writer has some global purview and consensus.  Certainly not from me.

Second;  "People" are sick of politically incorrect bullies—-and Trump is the poster child for self-important, self-absorbed, politically incorrect Bullies, imo.

Riding 35-40% pluralities of a single party as if Trump has some sort of national mandate is galling. In my state he came in dead last.

The people referred to in the article are republicans, not the whole at large of people.

For the republicans described, it is correct.

No worries, Trump will soon be dead if the politically correct bullies have their way.
