Attacks on the government and the media are now not only commonplace, but encouraged and cheered. This is not healthy and goes way beyond reasoned skepticism. Fueling these kind of fires is akin to burning down your own house. We need to look at ourselves and how we may be adding to this downward spiral. We seem hellbent on pursuing an us-and-them campaign, blaming "them" for all ills, and absolving "us" from any responsibility for not only the creation of those ills, but finding solutions for them. Yes, It is frightening to hear phrases like: "we are taking back our country." Sadly, this appears more and more to be the new normal.

Saw a tweet tonight suggesting that a sympathetic Congressperson could hire McCabe for a few days and thus fulfill his federal service requirement for his full pension.
He has other potential remedies to save his full pension, too.

But, the level of gratuitous disregard and vindictiveness shown by a Friday night firing (this"finding" was known for weeks), is unconscionable.

This administration is criminal; imo, and on so many levels. My primary problem with Trump is not a partisan dispute about policy or politics. My problem is with the utter vulgarity with which Trump (and seemingly most of his staff) governs.

Clearly, a vindictive move. Done at 10 pm, immediately announced to the press and followed by a tweet from a gloating Trump.
