Public Citizen, a consumer rights advocacy group, has filed 30 ethics complaints for violations of Trump's executive order, identifying at least 36 former lobbyists who are now working in Trump's administration on issues for which they have recently lobbied. That number is just the tip of the iceberg, says Craig Holman, PC's government affairs lobbyist
Partially, yes. I don't think that people who refuse to see the man for what he is are all motivated by loyalty. But I agree that loyalty certainly plays into it.
Nope, it's not the whole story. Related notions such as spite and esp. cognitive dissonance have roles there too. It's a package deal.

Shame (Doesn't want to lose face with their friends/family by admitting they were wrong) Lesser of evils ("he's not Hillary!") Doesn't want to have their belief system changed (Won't watch those fake news sites.) Brainwashed/convinced/True believers (Hannity/Carlson watchers) Cultural (Can't live in the deep south and not support Trump)
Whether blind or misplaced, it's still loyalty, and it answers your question.

For most of them it's tribal. You don't attack your own people, you stick with them. And that's a principle too, regardless of how many other principles are obviously ignored.
There's a difference between loyalty and blind loyalty. The first is a principle.... the second?... not so much.
I still don't understand how people can read something like this and still support him. When there is this much smoke... there's definitely a fire.

Raging on social media, madly jumping from one topic to another like a gerbil jumping around inside a cage. It's Monday morning, and the President of the United States has nothing better to do than rage on social media. This is the world we live in.
There are literally THOUSANDS of Trump Brand products for sale on Amazon. Not just random products with "Trump" printed on them, but actual official Trump licensed products.
So it would appear Trump himself is a major contributor to the (alleged) conditions he's complaining about and profits from Amazon's business practices.
I note that Trump hasn't called for removal of his products from Amazon.
But it would be a damned interesting move, if Amazon banned all Trump products. Hypothetically speaking.
