I have refrained from commenting here about Trump supporters in personal terms. However, having watched the videotape of a huge crowd at last night's Trump rally in Tampa chanting "CNN Sucks!" at Jim Acosta as he was reporting, cursing him and giving him the finger, I do wonder: Who are these idiots?
Perhaps these idiots were inspired by Miss Maxine ITMFA Waters.

A minority.
Now, the majority needs to vote, as well as speak more about what they want, so the nation moves with the will of the majority.

If you've been at work all morning, consider the fact that the guy who is literally the President of the United States of America did nothing but tweet all morning until his first meeting at 11:45
Out of this ever-churning sh*t storm... that is troubling you?
Yeah.....today that is troubling to me. Everything else has been troubling since day 1. Making an enemy of the press is incredibly reckless and dangerous to us all.

Black and Kurtster (and anyone else following this exchange):
Policies? Ok, we can talk policies.
But let's not get distracted by rhetoric —e.g., those in the "swamp" and "establishment" of course are against Trump's "policies." That's an example of not talking policy. Same with claims that Trump is doing things "differently." We need something more specific than that if we are going to talk policy. What exactly is he doing in terms of pursuing a particular policy? I don't want to hear things like there is method to his madness, just wait. That tells me nothing in terms of policy.
Tax cuts? Gee, what a unique idea! All Republicans propose tax cuts. Nothing new there. -and as i noted, not really a republican ideal as it will lead to even larger deficits
Deregulation? I agree with black that we are seeing a gutting of various agencies, including the State Department. The deregulation in EPA may be good for business/economy — at least in the short term — but it likely will not be good in the long haul.
Health care? No proposal other than to get rid of Obamacare. A glaring lack of anything from this administration. - there actually has been some "focus" on pulling in drug prices, but no real concrete strategy has been disclosed. Then there is weakening of obamacare (partial promise kept) and his plan for associations. So i give him a C+ here for effort
Immigration? I know Kurtster's views on this being a single issue of importance to him. We have talked enough about it here. My view is The Wall is a matter of symbolism. That said, I will wait and see if we end up with a significant reform. I am not, however, interested in inflaming people about criminals pouring over the border with Mexico. Nor am I interested in branding entire groups of people. That bodes ill for our collective future as it gives rise to accelerated forms of racial and ethnic hatred. That always needs to be tamped down, not exploited . at the height of this issue a few months back, he did make a reasonable plea to bargain with the democrats, but they took a hard line stance, and back to the rhetoric we go.
Trade wars and tariffs? He keeps promising better "deals" but so far nothing. -agreed, and hassling our allies, who can help us with China, isn't very smart; although recently he's changed his tone and seems willing to work with the allies
Foreign policy appears to be a mess especially if we are judging by the reactions of our usual allies, which, I would assert, is a good place to start the analysis. America First and MAGA are not policies; those are bumper sticker slogans. - ok, but ISIS is on the run and more contained
Frankly, there has been very little in the way of information about specific policies being pursued, much less results realized. Instead we are being told to just trust in Trump — see earlier comment about method to the madness. Why in the world should I trust this man? What in his past or present should lead me to trust in what he says or does? He plays fast and loose with the facts at all times. He engages in obvious propaganda techniques. He demonizes those in the media and in the intelligence community solely because it serves his political purposes and despite the great damage to the underpinnings of our democracy. He assails those who dare to criticize him and does so in personal terms. It is lowest common denominator time.
He is not draining the swamp. If anything, he is dragging the rest of us in with him. - not draining any swamp, but certainly doing things his way, which the GOP is now supporting...back to my point as to why?
