Stepping back a bit, this is the problem with a tolerant person in general. We see it in a microcosm in Berkeley in People's Park: the tolerant person wants a place where we can be free and accept everyone. (A great idea)
Into that space come the grifters and the crazies and the mean - and they overwhelm the person who is trying to be nice and tolerant. To exclude them is to be intolerant, and they don't want that.
So they either 1) lose their space to the people who have come in to take advantage of the situation
2) begin to become what they didn't want: rigid, rule-driven, and exclusionary.

So what happens to America? Tolerance breeds corruption, because not everyone can make it playing by the rules. So, they make a living by breaking the rules. And the folks who are silly enough to follow the rules get screwed over.

A parallel is Christianity, which tells you that you should deny yourself the pleasures of today (sex, riches) and store them up in heaven. That's how you become great.
But the alternate philosophy is that the great man is the one that is strongest, smartest, and takes what he wants. If life is short, then why would you not simply take the things that make it good?

Good thoughts.

Makes me want to ask what is the difference between a mob and a movement.  It's another thin line that is dependent on who is applying the labels or not ?

The GOPe are starting to rally behind Trump. The end could be in sight.

Anti-Trump forces contemplate the end

After a week of bruising losses, many Republicans are ready to give up the fight.

Donald Trumps the Hebrew media.

They obviously don't care for the Hitler nonsense.

There’s no longer any room for doubt about which Republican candidate Israel Hayom has decided to endorse. Throwing all its eggs in the Trump basket, the daily leads with a nearly full-page photo of the mega-successful businessman, his thumbs raised as he smiles alongside an equally giddy reporter Boaz Bismuth, under the headline “Your friend is leading the race.”

Perhaps it was a recent poll showing that Israelis favor Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton to succeed US President Barack Obama that mobilized the editors of the right-leaning, neoconservative Israel Hayom to aggressively attempt to sway the citizens of the Jewish state in favor of the contentious front-runner. Or perhaps it is billionaire casino magnate, pro-Israel philanthropist Sheldon Adelson, Israel Hayom’s owner and, not incidentally, one of the GOP’s most prominent donors, who is pulling the strings from above and indicating through the pages of the Israeli tabloid that he is warming up to the idea of Trump as the Republican nominee.

JEWISH LEADERS: COMPARING TRUMP TO HITLER IS ‘DEEPLY OFFENSIVE’

Prominent Jewish leaders have spoken out against ignorant comparisons being made between Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler, calling them “deeply offensive”.

In what has quickly become a trend, everyone from NBA players, to Glenn Beck to the President of Mexico and the communist Chinese state mediais saying that Donald Trump is “like Hitler.”

At the extreme end of the scale, many people are taking to social media to declare that Trump is LITERALLY Hitler.

Comedian Louis CK was one such person, recently writing a 1400-word letter to fans which stated “It was funny for a little while the guy is Hitler.”

Now Jewish leaders are speaking out against the trend, declaring it to be “deeply offensive”.

Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the Australian arm of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission (ADC), the longest running Jewish service organization in the world, told reporters“once again we see celebrities using appalling comparisons to Hitler to attack others”.

“There is simply no place for this kind of sickening distortion in our public discourse,” Abramovich urged.

“Hitler and his genocidal actions should never form part of the discussion about the American presidential elections and no candidate should ever be compared to Hitler”, Dr Abramovich added.

Abramovich declared that the millions of victims of mass genocide during the holocaust “deserve better and should not be used for political point sloganeering”.

“It bears repeating again that these types of historically inaccurate comparisons diminish the profound tragedy of the Holocaust and are deeply offensive to the victims, to survivors and to their families,” he said, adding that “Such ignorant posts only fuel the gross trivialisation of the Holocaust.”

This is why we should by no means shorten the election process.People need time to not feel guilty about feeling what stimuli indicate is correct and the time to reason things through.Hopefully they will realize that witty one liners of whatever their party line is won't help and that deeper thinking might be required.

When you couple the political dimension of the Mafia to various political leaders in the Mediterranean, the far right in numerous other European countries,
then see how many of Putins critics suddenly get murdered Putin on a horse and read some of the ten billion organized posts in social media, you start to wonder whether there is actually a parallel world out there of macho fascists who are all very pally with each other (before then culling their friends and enemies). It's a world so foreign to me I have trouble believing it exists.

Unfortunately, Trump fits right in with this picture. What amazes me is how popular guys like this remain (add Berlusconi and the others) while they actually fleece the countries they govern.

Oh my.Oh my my my.You'll be wanting to look into the World Economic Forum.

Remember in the '80's when all the cool kids were on to the Trilateral Commission and the CFR?

This is the new puppet master group you also don't hear much about in MSM.And in this case, the Internet, because they control that too.
