I have heard about Austin, that place is probably up to 350k by now.
Here's a comparision for you, 2 years ago we sold our house and moved into a condo.
The house was 2200 sq ft, 3 bdrms,  2.5 baths on 3 acres with a back building that could easily park 6 cars.
We sold it for 142k and very happy to get it

Wow. Detroit?

And keep in mind, this one is 1600 square feet smaller than yours!

Yeah, I just saw the listing and was Holy Crap! at the price. Boring and ticky-tacky. I could do a hell of a lot better than that with a quarter mill.

Sheesh. I thought it was just nutty here. Looks like the only reasonable prices are in Detroit, just bring your own water.  I feel like we jumped out of real estate a little early, but I also don't regret it. Lots of options, and we can sit back and see what happens without worry.

Exactly.

I'm not looking, exactly, that one just came in front of my eyeballs and I just thought Housing Bubble on a 10-Year Cycle.

My 1890 5000 sf Victorian only had one bathroom until the 1930's when they added another. Now it has 4.5.
