And, coincidentally, my final paper in biochemistry (got my degree in it) was a paper on the dangers of consuming large amounts of peptides, which can be falsely read by the body as chemical signals (i.e., distracting noise). I guess things have changed....

Why would lefties think anything about anyone from South Africa? Nobody gives two shits about them unless they start doing Bad Things. The only people I've met from South Africa had no hint of Nazi in them, so I think it's probably a localized reaction to meeting an actual Nazi and he's assuming everyone gets treated like a nazi.
Valid point but don't you think his timing on that is a bit off then? Hasn't he pretty much already lit the fuse? The fuse isn't going to burn right up until the next election before the bomb goes off.

You are forgetting that quelling public dissent and outrage is most likely part of the plan to initiate martial law when the time comes for elections. It's a feature, not a fault.

Musk is running the show with the full support of Trump. Who needs JD Vance when you have someone wealthier/smarter than Trump to put in charge of everything? ð¤£
Of course, when government services start to break down and Trump starts to feel the heat, he will try and initiate plausible deniability (I didn't know what Musk was up to) in order to try and provide some cover... as little as it may be. If it gets really bad, he will blame Musk and cast him to the gutter since he will be of no use any longer. I wouldn't let this group run a lemonade stand let alone a country. They are all unfit to lead.
