It's privatize everything, isn't it? Including the weather disaster warning system.
Let's be fair... it's not everything... but there is time for addendums. So far...
Department of Education: The project suggests disbanding the Department of Education and emphasizes "school choice," directing public funds to private or religious schools. It also proposes privatizing student loans and eliminating the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
Medicare and Medicaid: The plan includes prohibiting Medicare from negotiating drug prices, promoting the Medicare Advantage program (private insurance plans), and making significant cuts to Medicaid. It suggests turning Medicaid into a voucher program and eliminating federal oversight of state Medicaid programs.
Veterans Affairs: Funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs would be cut.
Transportation Security Administration (TSA): The project recommends privatizing the TSA.
Federal Reserve: It proposes abolishing the Federal Reserve and instead backing the dollar with a commodity like gold.
Department of Energy: The project calls for overhauling the Department of Energy to promote fossil fuels and reduce emphasis on green energy sources. It also aims to cut federal funding for climate change research.
Labor Unions: Project 2025 seeks to allow states to ban labor unions in the private sector, make it easier for corporations to fire workers involved in collective action, and eliminate overtime protections and the federal minimum wage.
Federal Student Aid: The project calls for the elimination of the Office of Federal Student Aid and suggests creating a new government corporation to manage student loans.
You know... if you get rid of everything the government does... nobody will have to pay any taxes.
Because I know who Trump is, and I refuse to support a leader and his supporting cast who are entirely focused on making themselves and their friends/supporters richer. I benefit from Trump being President, but I'm willing to sacrifice a bit to support my kids and their kids by leaving a functioning government and infrastructure that supports those in need, provides opportunity to succeed both educationally and economically, protects the environment, and makes the lives of everyone living here safer (both crime and environmentally).
As a recovering Republican, I've come to appreciate that the notion of "meritocracy" and "everyone can succeed" and "American independence" isn't entirely correct. I have serious concerns about DEI and reparations and programs designed to prioritize based on race, sex, religion, etc.... but I appreciate that the playing field has been historically tilted generously in my favor (white, male, European descent). Would I like things to be "great again"... sure, it was a lot easier. Is the far left insane about these programs? Absolutely, but they are a tiny faction despite what Fox News tells you.
History's trajectory on fairness is positive. There are reactions and overreactions, but overall, I feel that diversity of opportunity is positive. Is DEI overdone...yes. Is it worth gutting everything and removing slavery references from textbooks so white kids don't feel bad.... hell no. Should the names of Confederate soldiers be removed from schools? Maybe... but the local community has to see a value in doing so. Of the 300 or so public schools in the country named after rebs, my state has none. It's a tiny issue... that grabs an outsized amount of attention due to its emotional ties. It's like transgender athletes. There are 82,000 college athletes each year. So far, 32 openly transgender athletes have competed. It's not an issue... but it draws a huge cheer every time Trump says it... which is why he says it.
You can have Trump's record. A repeat is what I'm so against. History will be very unkind to Trump, and will ultimately show Biden as a critical leader in the perseverance of the Republic.
So back to Project 2025: You didn't answer the question. Do you believe Trump doesn't know anything about Project 2025?

And yet...
Biden's had moments since the debate when he's done well. I suspect he has some medical issue that causes him to become exhausted more easily. Add in the fact that he's 80 and works quite hard and boom, he looks doddering.
Drumpf, on the other hand, lied all the time when he was president. He lied in prepared written statements, he lied in speeches, he lied during press conferences and impromptu remarks. While president, he lied on average 20.5 times a day. 30,000/4 = 7,500. Then divide 7,500 by 365 and you'll obtain 20.54.
When someone lies 20.5 times a day, you have to think that he might have an obsessive-compulsive disorder controlling his behavior. That's not normal for anyone, even salesmen. You also have to wonder whether he has trouble separating fact from reality. Given Trump's age and family medical history, you wonder whether the lying is a sign of dementia.
And Trump is looking pretty old these days as well.
Given that
Trump is mentioned numerous times in the Project 2025 document,
that Trump admin veterans fill the upper levels of the project's leadership,
that he's praised it in speeches, his running mate his praised it publicly,
that Project 2025 and Heritage Foundation leaders have referred to their work as a roadmap for a Trump admin,
I'd say Trump owns this dogpile.
Finally, his recent remarks that he doesn't know anything about it or about the people involved are lies no one believes for a moment. If he truly seriously doesn't know anything about Project 2025, he is massively mentally unfit to run or serve as president.
Oh and btw: Trump is still a felon, still a rapist, still a suspected pedophile and still a failed conman owing $500+ million in civil damages.

So how do you decide which lies to ignore, and which to defend? If he doesn't know the following, do you really think he's up for the job?
Approximately 140 individuals who were part of the Trump administration played a role in Project 2025. This includes six former Cabinet secretaries including:
- Russ Vought (former Office of Management and Budget director)
- Ben Carson (former Housing and Urban Development secretary)
- Rick Dearborn (former deputy chief of staff)
- Gene Hamilton (former Justice Department senior counsel)
None of them mentioned anything to him, even though they worked on a 900-page book of plans for HIS second term. Really?
I guess it's accidental that many of the goals outlined in Project 2025 coincide with Trump's campaign pledges, such as abolishing the Education Department and appointing a special prosecutor to investigate Biden.
During Trump's previous term, he carried out roughly two-thirds of the Heritage Foundation's 2015 recommendations within a year. A happy accident?
When you support a guy who lied over 30,000 times during his 4 years in office, I guess at some point you lose sight of the truth.
