I use a set word for the first and a set word for the second if nothing turns up on the first. I also have some set words for the second word depending on what letters turn up in the first word, although I do not always use them. I figure the first word each day is a random word for which one makes random guesses, so why could it not be the word I use (has not happened yet)? My second set word used when nothing turns up on my first set word did come up once!
