You should be given a medal to even find that many valid words (with the three ending letters nailed on the first guess) before finding the right one at 6.

On guess 4 I was forced to try one that I doubted would be in the word list but I knew it was a valid scrabble word. And guess 5 repeated a letter that had been rejected earlier so I knew I was backing myself into a corner. By the 4th guess I was kind of amused and thinking "what if?" but no I hadn't actually figured it out until after #5, when I was faced with the obvious.
