I criticized them, not you.
If you want to talk about why you think those two are worthwhile, that's the nature of debate.
But attacking me personally in this and the followup posting just because I have a different opinion than you?
We see this too much in forums:
"I really don't like that song. I think that drummer is terrible."
"Well, then, you're an idiot."
Attacked? I can assure you that you haven't been attacked. That's another level of disagreement and reserved for special cases or bad days.
You seem a little full of yourself if not outright insecure. None of the reasons I posted the video link are about you or your opinion of the men speaking. It's about the subject matter, so you don't get to decide what the "nature" of the debate is. There wasn't a "debate". Either listen to the discussion or don't. Dropping in with no interest or intent other than to cast crude aspersions might get an unsavory reply.
Since you seem to have such a conscience for forums and fair, thoughtful participation, let's talk about that for a moment. You want thoughtful and reasoned content? Provide it. You want the derision and disrespect put forth as in your example, continue to provide that and it will come back to you if that is what you choose. Or, maybe it won't. Maybe you'll get lucky and be ignored as an idiot.
Two meatheads jacking each other off. Wonât be clicking on that.
Brand has developed as an individual/character over the years. It seems he may have a bit of a tainted past, but appears to embrace redemption. Regardless, many of his comments reflect a keen insight into the human psyche...more who comment in this vein would be helpful to the overall discourse.
Guess it wasn't linked here for you. Move on and don't waste your time commenting in your uniquely superior way.

Setting aside preconcieved notions about personalities, this is an interesting discussion about,
among other relevant topics, spirituality and ways to overcome the mounting challenges facing our world. I try to look and listen beyond crippled or trivialized intellectual arguments to what is actually being said. If it wasn't meaningful in a constructive and/or positive way I probably wouldn't venture the scorn or disrespect of deficit interests. Disagreement with ideas is one thing. I don't always know what the other is but I certainly know the difference.
That was SUCH a great movie. All three main players do such a superlative job with their roles. And Demornay coming off her âare you ready for me, Ralphâ Risky Business gorgeousness to play thisâ¦straight up brave. Anyone who hasnât seen this really really oughta.
ââ¦I have gradually understood completely that the man I served was not a well-meaning tribune of the masses, not the rebuilder of German grandeur, and also not the failed conquerer of a vast European empire, but a pathological hater. The people who loved him, the German greatness he always talked about, the Reich he conjured up as a visionâall that ultimately meant nothing to himâ¦. In the midst of an apocalyptic doom it attempted to commit us all to a miserable hatred of the Jews.â (pg 354)
âI am writing this as a profession of faith: I believe in a divine providence; I also believe in God's wisdom and goodness; I trust in his ways, even though they may seem matters of chance. It is not the mighty of the earth who determine the course of history. They think they are the movers, and they are moved.â
