yeah they're responsible, but it seems unlikely most will be held accountable

can anyone be responsible for something they didn't do?

history has many examples of the vulnerable paying for the sins of the invulnerable

just look at any war  (am i making any sense? probably not)

Police link Calif. cop killing suspect to ‘Boogaloo’ movement
OAKLAND, Calif. (CNN) — A suspect in the shooting deaths of two officers in California had symbols linked to the extremist Boogaloo movement, a loosely knit group of heavily armed, anti-government extremists, US Attorney David Anderson said.

Steven Carrillo, 32, faces a federal murder charge in the May 29 drive-by shooting of David Patrick Underwood, a federal protective services officer, in Oakland, Anderson said. At the same time, a protest against police brutality was taking place nearby.

Carrillo, an active-duty staff sergeant stationed at Travis Air Force Base at the time of the shooting, is also the suspect in the June 6 death of a Santa Cruz sheriff’s deputy, Sheriff Jim Hart said last week.

“The Boogaloo term is used by extremists to reference a violent uprising, or impending civil war in the United States,” Anderson said. (...)

Stuff making the rounds at The Other Place trying to convince people NOT to go to Tulsa next week to protest shithead's redneck rally.  This thing is no doubt a brainchild of that wannabe nazi Stephen Miller and there's little doubt that there will be right-wing provocateurs there to insure that any peaceful demonstration is turned into a brutal shitshow. Nothing would energize shithead's racist base more than images of disorder and looting - because they know that only their hero can stop it.

.. Biden has a plan

Trump has already toasted all those who were halfway competent and has a habit of firing everyone after a short stint.. (he only seems to feel comfortable in a disruptive environment, probably cos then everyone is drawn down to his level). So we can expect this pattern to continue, or even get worse. If you like drama and chaos, he's your man.

Biden is by no means a first choice, but at least he can hold a team of half-way competent people together.

Kind of a dodge there.

I will then infer that you are okay with this kind of behaviour and have no problem with your neighborhood being taken over by activists.

But then you also infer it to be a problem.

So yeah, a dodge.

No, it is not.

This is the conclusion of the  post to which you responded “yep”, with the bold facing provided by you:

This is America's future if Donald Trump doesn't win in November.

I replied that I would take my chances — i.e., I rejected the notion that only the re-election of Trump would prevent Antifa takeovers of our cities. In my response to your further questions, I went broader: I reject the notion that the re-election of Trump is the only way we can avoid chaos and financial ruin in this country.

You now seem to have divorced your questions from the original statement that only the re-election of Trump will prevent Antifa takeovers of our cities. That is the statement to which I was responding. I will take my chances because I firmly believe the harm 4 more years of Trump will cause this country will far outweigh any harm that may occur because he no longer holds that office.

By the way, I am curious about your responses to the myriad questions I posed in my last response to you regarding the existence of a Deep State.

I have not forgotten.  It is not a question that I take lightly. Nor is it easy to answer.  I already have some thoughts.  Just need to organize them.
