Except today, RP is back on Google Home via Tune In. Give up the need to understand why...

Just an FYI that lately I've been having the same problem here in Victoria, BC, Canada. Trying to listen to RP via a Google Home speaker, but the last while can't generally get Radio Paradise via Tune In. Suddenly worked again a few nights ago, but the last few nights have been a no go.

I can listen to RP via the Tune In app on my laptop, just can't listen in via Tune In on Google Home speaker.

Ah, okay.  I'm in Canada so PRS shouldn't be my problem.  It was working perfectly for a couple of years straight, and all of a sudden... Poof.  No more RP!  Very disappointing, I hope it's a Google problem and is resolved soon, but it's been three weeks now.  If only there was a way to put an RP app on my Google Home... :)

The PRS issue was specific to the UK.    TuneIn unfortunately has intermittent issues on voice activated speakers.    In the past they usually don't last too long.   The only workaround is to use another device to send the audio to the speaker,  while waiting for them to sort it out.

Reviving a year-old thread, but it appears this has happened before.  TuneIn Radio stopped playing RadioParadise again a couple of weeks ago (I only now found time to look into why).  Has the dispute with PRS been revived?  I miss being able to tell Google to play RadioParadise on my Home speakers.

Not quite right. It's because of a request by PRS (the UK copyright licensing agency), not by us. But it's not TuneIn's choice, so bugging them about it won't help.

We're trying to sort out the licensing issues. In the meantime, you can still listen via our apps & website, or via a direct stream link. 

Tunein have just responded to me denying responsibility : "Due to licensing issues, this station has been geo-restricted out of the UK. The broadcaster now currently restricts access to this station to their country only " ...

We also noticed that although the web player is fine, trying to stream via our Google Mini devices causes a "not supported in your country" (UK) message from TuneIn.  I cannot find a command for the Google devices that allows me to stream RP without TuneIn, so we don't have access currently except via Laptop etc.

Are you in the UK? Looks like we've been blocked by TuneIn in the UK, most likely due to licensing issues. We'll see if we can sort that out, but it probably won't be happening right away. 

I listen to Radio Paradise via a Pioneer media server which has TuneIn Radio as an option. Today RP is showing as “not supported” when I try to access it. Disappointing as RP is my first choice for music listening.  Other stations are still available. Is anyone aware of why this is?
