The price list, briefly released by
Belgiumâs budget state secretary, Eva De Bleeker, showed that the
Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which is set for approval on Monday in the bloc
and is being administered in the United States and Britain, will cost
12 euros, or $14.7, per dose, bringing the cost per person to â¬24, as
each person is supposed to receive two doses. An informed guide to the global outbreak, with the latest developments and expert advice. That
is markedly lower than the companyâs official price, which has been announced at $19.5 per dose, which is also what the United States government paid.
$10/per person....say 100 million doses...that's probably a lot of money?

Since you want to bring up previous posts, how's
your defense of Antifa earlier this year as not being organized/harmful working out for Portland these days?
Insurers balk at covering Portland businesses; brokers say downtown upheaval has made carriers wary"But in November, Murfitt was informed that his insurance carrier would not be renewing the storeâs policy. Nearly a dozen other insurance companies declined to even offer Mercantile a quote."
AND:
Antifa and BLM riots in US caused between $1-$2 billion in damage, insurance companies reportSeems that your judgement calls are highly suspect.

for what it's worth, a perspective on long term covid cases:
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Katherine S., 21, was like most young adults her age: Active, busy, engaged in life . A sophomore in college, she had recently transferred schools and moved back home to her parentsâ beach house in Florida, where she was juggling studying with working at a popular local restaurant and bar. She was also training with her dad to do a 250-mile bike ride in France down the Normandy coast.
âThey were training pretty hard, and then COVID hit,â says Peggy, Katherineâs mom. âBy April it became pretty apparent that we were not going to France for this ride.â Still, Katherine and her dad kept training for a while, until an early Friday in June when she started to experience some early signs of COVID-19.
âAt first I felt like I had a cold: My nose was stuffy, I was really tired and chilled â I was just out of it ,â says Katherine, who says she contracted the virus at the restaurant where she worked along with several other employees there. By happenstance, she had just been tested for COVID-19, as their county had requested that everyone do a drive-through test.

no, or i'd say it's highly unlikely (could your mind play that trick? the power of the placebo?)
in another study az used a meningitis vaccine as the placebo, but not here
at first i was sure i got the saline shot and i joked and complained to my family on the phone
also i think the effects are not as pronounced with the az shot
would i bet red dragon's life on it? no, never
will i get the pfizer or moderna vaccine in a couple of months when offered? yes
i'll take the second az trial shot mid january and monitor

there's very little risk on my part and the potential benefit is worth it for me and for the study (win/win)
we've got pfizer and moderna approved and astrazeneca probably won't be far behind (and there are many others in the pipeline)
i wanted to get in on the moderna trial but that boat was full
the astrazeneca vaccine is probably the one that will be used by most of asia, africa and central and south america (rural areas)
from what i've heard the biggest reason being it only requires normal refrigeration and not extreme cold like the others
still a bit tired but i'm sure i'll be fine
currently they are supposed to wait two years before they can tell me if i got the shot (couple of silly reasons)
one of the questions that i asked over and over is it is recommended that i take the one of the other vaccines is offered by my doc/drug store
yes, we're not aware of any problem with that however we would recommend you wait 28 days after your second shot
why? as i understand it, the az shot is about 70% effective and delivered by a virus, the others about 90% effective and different (lipid) delivery
stay safe

An unexpected moment happened, when a CHI Memorial nurse fainted after being vaccinated. She says that this happens to her frequently. CHI Memorial Doctors tell us that this isn't correlated with the vaccine.
